How does LipoSculp works ?
Liposculpt treatment gently and effectively “melts” away localized fat and cellulite underneath the skin. The treatment also improves skin texture over treated areas to noticeably reduce “orange peel” appearance. It can treat most fatty areas, such as the tummy, upper arms, bra-bulge, thighs and love handles. As the procedure is non-surgical, there will be no scars, no anaesthesia and no recovery time required.
Am I suitable for Liposculpt treatment ?
During consultation, the doctor will assess your body for suitability to undergo treatment and make recommendations. Ideal candidates for Liposculpt have moderate to large fat bulges and are seeking spot reduction for specific areas of fat. Liposculpt is not intended for weight loss or to treat obesity.
How many treatments are required ?
Depending on the treated areas, it is recommended to undergo up to 6 sessions for larger areas such as tummy, thighs and upper arms for good improvements. Smaller areas such as double chin and bra bulge will require fewer treatments.
What are the possible side effects from LipoSculpt ?
There may be temporary bruising of the treated areas, which may last up to 2 weeks. Some patients may also experience temporary soreness of the treated areas which will subside within 1 to 2 days.
Are there any restrictions before or after LipoSculpt ?
Patients can resume their daily activities immediately after the procedure. In order to minimise the risk of bruising, it is advisable to discontinue the use of Aspirin or certain pain killers such as Ibuprofen for at least a week before the procedure (please discuss this with our doctor if in doubt). After completing treatment, healthy living habits need to be maintained for the results to last.
