Dr. Teh obtained a scholarship to study in University of Malaya and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2002. She did her internship in Kuala Lumpur General Hospital followed by 3 years of training in Klang General Hospital.Having a keen interest in the field of medical aesthetics, Dr. Teh further pursued a Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology from the National University of Singapore. She has also been awarded a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine by the renowned American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery by Mahidol University, Bangkok.Dr. Teh has worked with top reputable dermatologist and aesthetic practitioners in Malaysia and Singapore during her course of practice in cosmetic medicine since 2006. She has attained certification of competence in operating various dermatologic lasers, Botox injections and filler procedures. Her special interest is in non-ablative laser cosmetology.Dr. Teh firmly believes that the patient’s best interest comes first and place importance on communicating a complete and honest picture of how a patient can benefit from aesthetic treatments. Overall, she understands that cosmetic procedures are a highly personal decision and work to make sure that patients feel comfortable in understanding and realizing their vision.
Outside of work Dr. Teh enjoys spending time with her young daughter and family. Her interests include travelling, dining and reading. She also blogs about various beauty related topics at The Aesthetic Doctor’s Blog, which aims to provide easily accessible and reliable information for the public. |
